Open Side Container

An Open sided container is a type of shipping container with two or three sets of double doors on the long side. The doors can be opened the full length of the container, providing easy access for loading and unloading. The doors are made of flat steel panels and have rubber seals to prevent water and moisture from entering the container. The advantages of open sided containers include the ability to fit oversized equipment, maximize use of space, faster stuffing and de-stuffing, and the ability to sort goods without having to offload all items in the container. Open sided containers come in 20 and 40-foot sizes, and high cube versions are also available.
