Dangerous Goods

Dangerous goods are materials or items that have hazardous properties and can pose a risk to human health and safety, infrastructure, and/or means of transportation if not properly controlled. The transportation of these goods is regulated by national and international frameworks, such as the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, ICAO's Technical Instructions, IATA's Dangerous Goods Regulations, and the IMO's International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code. These regulations specify how dangerous goods should be handled, packaged, labeled, and transported to ensure the safety of the people involved and the public.
