Base

Base defines a "base" price that will always have to be paid for a certain product, service, item or equipment. The Basic break doesn't multiply and will only be calculated once for each Basic-break-rate of the shipment.

e.g.

A basic import or export charge might apply when shipping DRG goods, for example:

  • The shipper pays €200.00 when declaring a DRG shipment
  • This €200.00 includes 7 UN Number's
  • Any UN Number extra costs €50,00

Important: A Base price is always be in combination with a Flat  and can be used in combination with a Maximum price.
